Hello, I’m Eszter Brhlik. It’s nice to have you here!
If you asked me to describe myself in 5 words, I’d say I’m conscious, balanced, caring, goal-oriented, and adventurous. I’m an ENTJ-A.
Although I studied International Business with Entrepreneurship, Scenario Planning, and Sustainability majors, I find peaceful fulfillment in life as a writer and teacher.
To master my writing skills and find my voice, I’ve crafted more than 100 articles within 8 months. During this time, I had a part-time…
My student wrote long essays colored with professional vocabulary for her university classes. Still, I got lost in her word labyrinths every time I corrected her assignments. It was extremely hard to understand what she meant. That was her mistake. She wrote unrelated points after points, packed in complicated and misleading sentences. When I asked her to describe the most important takeaway of a single paragraph with one clear and precise sentence, she stared at me with eyes wide open. Being clear is essential in all fields of writing. And not only in writing; it’s also crucial in spoken communication.
Do you ever think about how important sustainability is but can’t implement actionable steps into your everyday life?
If you feel like green habits are difficult, time-consuming, and have no impact, it’s likely because you’re doing the wrong things.
And the most dangerous mindset is to neglect sustainability because it’s too hard to live with the changes and to hope others will do their part.
As Robert Swan once said:
“The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.”
To ignore climate change means contributing to the overexploitation of our planet, the extinction of…
I wake up in a tent and, at first, don’t know where I am.
Is this for real?
I walk through the camp the first day barefoot. The chilly morning fills my lungs with fresh forest air. I breathe slowly and try to let in as much as I can from the astonishing beauty of wild nature.
Life is happening right now. We don’t have to go anywhere for a whole week; our only task is to indulge in the incomprehensible lightness of being and enjoy the vulnerable reality of the now. We’ve arrived.
This holiday in an abandoned corner…
As of 28 July 2021, more than 13 thousand scientists declared a climate emergency.
Whether you accept it or not, our world is on fire, and we’re burning in it alive. All of us.
This is what independent researchers say from more than 153 countries. It’s not what a single populist politician claims to remain in power and frighten his people. This is serious. Peer-reviewed, if you want it.
The G-Spot doesn’t exist.
The mystical spot is part of the clitoris; it isn’t a distinct organ. At least, scientists couldn’t locate it even after years of research.
Women whose clitoris lays close to the vaginal wall enjoy the stimulation. Ladies with slightly different anatomies might not feel anything. And that’s perfectly fine.
We’re diverse; we don’t have to enjoy the same things.
Still, there’s an emerging trend among women…
Nature provides everything you need to survive on Earth. Freshwater, clean air, comfortable temperature, and healthy nutrients, among others.
Yet, most people ignore the destruction we currently do against mother nature. Some consciously contribute to the harm. We exploit the resources and contaminate the environment.
We are on a good track to making life miserable for ourselves and the next generations. I’m not sure humans will survive the next few hundred years if we keep doing things and business as usual.
Change must come both on the individual and at the societal level.

Just like every 5th woman in the world, I also got raped.
I dated the wrong guy, and I might even say the whole stuff was getting close to a new relationship. Although I only met Kevin three times, we headed towards our first sexual experience.
The rape happened in an everyday situation. I walked home with him on that Saturday evening with consent. We even kissed, and I tried to enjoy that something in the beginning.
He started to penetrate me. A few minutes later, though, I felt I wasn’t ready for it. I told him to slow down…
It’s the job of governments and companies to create livable alternatives amidst climate change. You can’t do a lot, but you can be a drop in the ocean.
We can’t stop global warming. We’re past that point. Our planet will burn down right in front of our eyes, creating a lot of suffering.
Unfortunately, I’m not pessimistic; I’m realistic. More people will die of heatwaves (because yes, they already do), extreme weather will unexpectedly destroy homes and lives (it’s already happening), our food will be damaged. We’re screwed.
We’ll have to survive with the consequences.
“I can’t love a God who supports genocide and commands murder. I don’t want to believe in such an evil God.”
“Let me explain.” said the Christian guy I got to know on a long train ride.
He couldn’t explain.
Like most Christian fundamentalists, he also believes The Bible is infallible because it is the word of God. A God we should worship and obey.
In that case, it’s such a shame the divine spoke to humanity through this poorly written violent manual. …
